Where is the Ice Cream Parlor?
The ice cream parlor is where our monthly club meetings are normally held. To find the ice cream parlor, go toward the main complex of buildings above the racetrack. Follow the street signs. The ice cream parlor is behind the building above the racetrack.

Can I get there by bus?
Yes! You can get to the race track by bus via Trimet. Check http://trimet.org/ for the latest schedule and directions. Bus Line #1-Vermont will take you by the race track.
Directions to the PQMRA Racetrack
From the South: Take Highway 217 North from I-5 North. Take the Greenburg Rd. exit and go right. Greenburg Rd. turns into Oleson Rd. at the Hall Blvd. Intersection. Go straight to Vermont St. and turn right. Go one block and turn left on Shattuck Rd. Alpenrose Dairy is on your left. You will see signs where to enter at the top of the hill.
From the East and North: Take I-5 South to the Multnomah Blvd. exit. Go to 45th and take a right. Go to Vermont St. and take a left. Go to Shattuck Rd. and take a right. Alpenrose Dairy is on your left. You will see signs where to enter at the top of the hill.
From the West: Take the Sunset Highway (Hwy 26) to Highway 217 South. Take the Greenburg Rd. exit and go left. Greenburg Rd. turns into Oleson Rd. at the Hall Blvd. Intersection. Keep going straight to Vermont St.; turn right. Go one block and take a left on Shattuck Rd. Alpenrose Dairy is on your left. You will see signs where to enter at the top of the hill.
Where to Get Gas For Racing on Race Day
All race participants are required to provide their own fuel unless otherwise specified for that particular race. Fuel should be mid-grade quality and due to ever changing gasoline formulations, PQMRA recommends participants only use fuel purchased on the morning of the race you are attending. Fuel should be purchased at the following gas station (located approximately 1.4 miles NE from the track):

All participants are subject to fuel testing as determined by the Tech Director. PQMRA race officials will purchase gasoline from the above location on race morning for calibrating the fuel testing equipment.

RV Services Information
There is limited electrical available on-site. Be prepared to provide your own. There are no RV septic or water services available on site.
Track Rules
Alpenrose provides a variety of activities for the community. They provide not only our racetrack, but also several baseball fields, a theater for plays, a museum town and a velodrome. If you plan to visit our racetrack, please be aware of the rules of conduct at this track. We want to keep Alpenrose a safe and fun place to visit!
