WHERE:     PORTLAND QMA – ALPENROSE DAIRY

TIME:     SAFETY & REGISTRATION 11:00AM-1:00PM, OPEN PRATCICE: 9:00AM-1:00PM, CONTROLLED PRACTICE: 1:00PM, PIT MEETING: 3:00PM. QUALIFYING TO FOLLOW PIT MEETING

DINNER:     BBQ DINNER PROVIDED BY PQMRA TO FOLLOW QUALIFYING

Region Race #4 – This weekend!

Little Wheels will all parking for all QMA members starting at 10 AM on Thursday morning.  When you arrive, please find Marc Deaver to find out where you should put your trailer and your RV.  The track will be open for practice on Thursday.  On Friday there will be semi-organized practice for all non-Novice classes up until 3pm at which time Novice take over and get the track to themselves until 4:30.  Controlled practice will begin Friday evening at 5pm for all signed in cars in the  Non-Novice classes.

Reminder: August 9th-19th are Alpenrose Black-out dates

Even the best of us forget these important dates sometimes. Please also note Black-out dates are in effect October 3-4 as well.

Important reminder for those going to Monroe this weekend

***FIRE EXTINGUISHERS: (THIS IS MANDATORY FOR EACH TRAILER)*** It is mandatory that ALL race trailers on WQMA/County property (with fuel cans) are REQUIRED by the Snohomish County Fire Marshal to be in possession of a 2A10BC Fire Extinguisher either mounted by, or placed next to the back door of the trailer where it is visible. The Track will be inspected on Race Days and we need to have 100% compliance, otherwise there is possibility we could be shut down. These can be purchased at any Lowes or Home Depot.

Region 9 Cup Challenge…

Last weekend 17 of our drivers headed north to compete in the Region 9 Race held at LQMA where they once again dominated the entire weekend! Not only did our drivers land a total of 17, top 4 finishes, they also won 8 of the 12 A-main events!  We should all be incredibly proud of our driver’s achievements as together, they have returned home retaining our club’s lead in the Region 9 Cup Challenge!!
